At the age of 15 whilst watching films with my sister in my hometown of Northampton, I realised my passion laid within costume; costume was the one thing she noticed I couldn't stop talking about and this is something I believe will never change.
Taking Art and Textiles A levels, alongside History and English, I began exploring this exciting new means of communication, and soon after was accepted into Nottingham Trent University to study Costume Design and Making full time to develop my knowledge further under the tuition of Karen Bartlett, Gregory Smith, Mary Charlton and Dr. Emma Ferry.
I enjoy bold and striking visuals with a focus on character and atmosphere and often explore the application of contrasting concepts onto texts and librettos to create fresh, new and exciting aesthetics.
